I went with this company because Chat GPT recommended them as they are supposably one of the biggest and best. Wow do I regret my decision. Mac was very nice and easy to work with...at first. He was NOT responsive to texts and rarely returned phone calls. My insurance agent even complained that he would not get back to her. This company is so disorganized it's infuriating. Communication, not a new word, needs to be learned by this company. Claim was for water damage. Took just over 1 year to get all the repairs accomplished. Could've built a new house instead. Our ceiling work is sub par. We accepted it only because after 5 tries to get it right we got sick of them in our bedroom. Flooring is great, it was done quickly as it was contracted by another company. We lived with sub flooring with staples in it for 4 - 5 months. We worked with Isaiah & Codie who were our project managers at the Okemos location. Although the entire house restoration took a bit longer than first anticipated, the guys were always responsive, personable, and professional. We would hire them again!

We were referred to Belfor after we experienced flooding in our basement. Our bathroom had been destroyed because of the water damage. Removal of all damaged material was done by Roto-Rooter (highly recommend). Insurance of course had gotten involved, field adjuster came out and did their end of things. Our desk adjustor suggested Belfor, they came out and did measurements. Left paperwork on a Thursday, said they would be back the following Monday. They didn’t return for 3 WEEKS. The quality of work was very good. The techs are good. Very responsive. My chief complaint is their business procedures. They are not timely with communications and billing. Don't respond to requests. Very poor. Also, writing TBD for an estimate is not acceptable. You can make an estimate. I think this is a bad business practice to let them to allow to overcharge.
