I had a water leak in my garage on a weekend. I called Belfor for restoration so mold didn’t grow. They came out on a Sunday, which is great, however, refused to give me any pricing, estimate, range, ANY expectation of cost. I was not going through insurance because I know the cost of doing that would be more than to do the work. Extremely rude, unprofessional and disrespectful to personal property. My belongings including kitchenware, bathroom accessories, bedsheets, clothes were badly soiled after the company provided their drying service in my apartment. When they brought their drying hardware in (I was not informed about this and thus was completely unprepared and absent at the time), they did not even bother to cover some of my possessions with at least plastic drape, while the drying machines were circulating dust and debris all over. Crew used my personal vacuum to suck up drywall and destroyed it. In front of me they disconnected the water under my sink and ruined everything that was under the sink. Destroyed my belongings in front of me and without my permission.

Have never dealt with a better company. They responded virtually immediately, in about 80 minutes and ATTACKED the problem. They handled all issues with insurance, addressed ALL repairs and communicated perfectly throughout. Ours was three floors of damage and everything was repaired, replaced and in a few instances, upgraded. I hope to never experience home damage like this again but knowing who to call, and entrust work to, is genuinely comforting. Work performed August, September 2023.

Belfor is by far one of the best remediation/restoration companies I've used. As a property manager, I've experienced alot of damages from floods, fires, sewer backups, roof leaks, foundation leaks, you name it. Their team is very responsive, organized and professional.
