We had Belfor in after we had water damage due to a leak from a hose to our upstairs toilet causing some significant water damage. The only thing positive about this company is their promptness in responding. They tore out flooring (waterproof at that) along with carpet, plaster walling, etc that did not need to be, they left our place a disaster as most would have dried and been fine as my father was only gone for a couple hours when this occurred. Called this company regarding water in basement. Put on hold and when I called from cell phone to find out what the problem was, I was told I gave incorrect number.. But how is that a legit reason when. I was on hold for over an hour! Called another company and they came that morning and i wasn’t on hold!

Turns out the house I bought held 5 adult smokers and an illegal puppy mill for 4 years. Even though the seller replaced flooring and painted, the smell was really bad and I couldn't live in the house. I called a couple of companies, but Belfor acted immediately without any wait time, which I really appreciated. They came in a washed all the walls, ceilings and floors, and sealed the interior of the house. They did a great job. Once they were done I was able to breathe in the house. I would highly recommend Belfor.

Following a flooded basement I can't speak highly enough about the service provided by their Stratford Ontario group. They responded almost immediately to my situation and every crew involved was courteous, competent, efficient and considerate. They are a credit to your organization and I would have no problem giving them my highest recommendation.

The employees that dealt with the fire at my father’s shop were arrogant and rude. A complete lack of professionalism and compassion for the individuals whose lives were just destroyed. If you are looking for caring, empathetic individuals in the restoration business, you will not find them here.
